Yash Turns Down Role in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayan, Awaits Announcement of Yash 19

As fans eagerly anticipate the announcement of the KGF superstar Yash's next film project post the enormous success of KGF 2, speculations had been rife. Among these was the rumour that Yash had been approached for the role of Ravan in Nitesh Tiwari's forthcoming Ramayan, produced by Madhu Mantena. However, sources close to the actor have confirmed that Yash has decided to turn down the opportunity to play a negative character at this juncture of his career.

Yash Stays Loyal to Fan Sentiment

Yash, also known as the Rocking Star of Kannada cinema, is known to hold his fans' wishes in high regard. The consensus among his fanbase is clear – they are not ready to see their star in a negative avatar. Respecting these sentiments, Yash has reportedly decided not to take up the role after discussing it with his family and team.

With Yash's declination, the quest for the perfect Ravan for Tiwari's Ramayan continues. Notably, the role was previously offered to Hrithik Roshan, the War 2 star, who also declined. The industry and fans alike are intrigued to see who will eventually bag this coveted role in the film, which also stars Bollywood power couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

The Anticipation Builds for Yash 19

The Kannada star's fans and audience members alike are on tenterhooks for the grand announcement of Yash 19. There have been unconfirmed reports suggesting that Kannada director Narthan might helm Yash 19. However, with Narthan currently busy with the Shiva Rajkumar film, the possibility seems uncertain.

Another rumour suggested Yash collaborating with Malayalam actor-director Geethu Mohandas for a gangster film. However, this remains unconfirmed. "Narthan had almost finalised the script, but due to an OTT release that shared similar plotlines, Yash has asked Narthan for a new script," sources shared with India Today.

While the speculations are many, official announcements are scarce. Fans of Yash continue to wait eagerly for confirmed news about the actor's next venture. Producer Madhu Mantena has indicated that his project will commence by the end of 2023, with the cast and crew to be announced in October. For now, all eyes remain on Yash and his upcoming cinematic journey.
