The Delhi Files: Famous for his intriguing yet controversial film 'The Kashmir Files', director Vivek Agnihotri is back with a new flick. Vivek Agnihotri on 3rd October made the announcement of his upcoming film The Delhi Files. The film will be made in two parts, the first part will hit the theatres next year on Independence Day. Agnihotri fans are going gaga for the upcoming release but some negative comments were also seen on the internet.

Vivek Agnihotri Announces The Delhi Files

After much anticipation, famous director Vivek Agnihotri released the poster of his upcoming film The Delhi Files. He also revealed the release date of the film. Delhi files will hit the theaters on 15th August 2024. Agnihotri shared a post on his social media platforms to inform his audience about the upcoming release. He wrote, 'MARK YOU CALENDAR: August 15, 2025. After years of research, the story of #TheDelhiFiles is too powerful for one part. We’re excited to bring you The Bengal Chapter - the first of two parts, unveiling a significant chapter in our history.' He also added the hashtag #RightToLife.'

Vivek Agnihotri's wife Pallavi Joshi is co-producing the film and according to reports will also join the cast. Mithun Chakraborty and Anupam Kher can be a part of the film too.

Netizens React to Vivek's Announcement

Right after the announcement of the upcoming film netizens flocked to the comment section of the film director. Some fans wished Vivek Agnihotri luck. They said, 'Best wishes sir.' 'Waiting!' and 'Best wishes to the team!' Some mixed reactions from the netizens were also visible. One user commented, 'Another Propaganda movie after THE KASHMIR FILES!' Another wrote, 'It should be a good watch!' Some netizens also commented. They said, 'Another Controversy Loading.' 'Hope they don't spread any sort of propaganda here!' and 'If it is a propaganda movie then it will fail!'
