Renowned director Hansal Mehta has revealed the third chapter in his well-known "Scam" series. This time, the series will explore the intricate and interesting life story of Sahara Group founder Subrata Roy.

Subrata Roy: From Business Tycoon to Legal Battle

shrewd businessman and founder of Sahara Group, Subrata Roy built a vast media, real estate, hotel, and banking empire. However, a 2014 disagreement with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) led to an extended legal dispute. Roy's reluctance to appear in court resulted in his detention and imprisonment at Tihar Jail. After receiving parole at last, he passed away in November 2023.
