She is a resident of Delhi but currently lives in Mumbai. But do you know that the ‘Dangal’ actress does not find the capital safe for women? (Yes, that’s right!) Mumbai safer than Delhi?

In an exclusive conversation, Sanya Malhotra openly expressed her opinion regarding the safety of women in the National Capital. Sanya said, “I belong to Delhi and I have a very good reason why I like Mumbai more than Delhi. It’s because I feel safer in Mumbai.”

Some Facts

So do you know that the safest city in India is Coimbatore which is in Tamil Nadu. Where, In 2020 Mumbai reported 332 rape cases (sexual assault on women above the age of 18 years), as compared to 967 in Delhi.

Rajkummar Rao’s Take..

Sanya further said, “I do not know whether Delhi has improved or not, but I did not feel safe there. I cannot give any reason for this. I don't think there will be a single woman in Delhi who has not faced molestation".

Keeping his opinion on these things expressed by Sanya Malhotra, Rajkummar Rao also said," this thing can disturb you a lot and somehow have a negative impact on you."
