In a candid chat with Architectural Digest, Sarah Greenwood, the film's production designer, divulged details about the set construction for Barbie. Greenwood highlighted the importance of preserving the 'childlike essence' and ensuring that the colours, especially the pinks, were bright and somewhat overwhelming.

Lauren Proud, Rosco's Vice President of Global Marketing, spoke to the Los Angeles Times, stating, "They used as much paint as we had."
