After Nach Baliye-3, Rakhi Sawant made a big announcement that she would never participate in reality shows. But soon she took everyone by surprised when she announced that she was participating in Yeh Hai Jalwa, a reality show on 9X. Paparazzi got after Rakhi soon as they wanted to know why this sudden change of mind. Rakhi said, "I have to meet my expenses. It is not easy to live in a city like Mumbai where expenses are like sky-scrapers. I have to pay my driver, gym and maid. I have to pay Rs.10,000 for the maintenance of my flat, Rs.50,000 to my manager. I have to repay the loan I took to buy my car." In fact Rakhi is often seen carrying a diary with all the expenses that she incurs, recorded in it. She was seen showing it to one and all as proof. They all participate in reality shows for money but they don't have the guts to admit that. I believe in speaking my heart out. I want money for myself, my expenses and for the kids that are participating with me on the show." In the show Rakhi will be leading a team of kids from a slum. The team is named Chillar Party.
