The statement read, "The remarks made by BJP MP Ms. Kangana Ranaut concerning the farmers' protest do not reflect the party’s official viewpoint. The Bharatiya Janata Party does not endorse her statements, and she has not been given permission to speak on party policies." The BJP made it clear that Ms. Ranaut is not authorised to speak for the party on policy matters. She has also been advised by the party to refrain from speaking out about these issues in public going forward.
