Bhooth Bangla: The king of comedy films in Bollywood Akshay Kumar is back with another major film announcement. Akshay Kumar recently revealed that the actor is going to join forces with Bhool Bhulaiyaa director Priyadarshan again after 14 years. On his 57th Birthday, the Khel Khel Mein actor announced the release of his new film Bhooth Bangla and expressed excitement.

Previously, on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi Akshay Kumar shared a cryptic post on his social media platforms and said that he'll make an announcement on his birthday. Today, 9th September, the actor shared another post announcing the upcoming film. He wrote in the caption, "Thank you for your love on my birthday, year after year! Celebrating this year with the first look of ‘Bhooth Bangla’! I’m beyond excited to join forces with Priyadarshan again after 14 years. This dream collaboration has been a long time coming… can’t wait to share this incredible journey with you all. Stay tuned for the magic!"

In the announcement teaser, Akshay Kumar was seen holding a milk bowl with a cat on his shoulder. The backdrop has a bungalow and the color combination and music excited the fans. The film's shooting is expected to start later this year.

Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan's Reunion

The Bollywood hitmaker and Priyadarshan have worked together many times for major films. They have done, 'Hera Pheri', 'De Dana Dan', 'Bhagam Bhag' and ofcourse everyone's favorite, 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' together. The actor-director duo last collaborated for the 2010 film 'Khatta Meetha', this upcoming project will mark their reunion after 14 years.
