Coldplay: The global musical band Coldplay recently took to their social media platforms and announced the biggest surprise for their Indian fans. Known for being the biggest cricket stadium in the world, Narendra Modi Stadium is all set to welcome British boyband Coldplay in Ahmedabad. The four-member band's official X account posted about this unforeseen event. They have also claimed that performing at Ahmedabad will mark their biggest stadium concert ever with a capacity of 132K people. The numbers may have increased but the group's impact on the crowd is the same. Chris Martin's group has given some of the best performances on the global stage. Let's take a look at their top 5 biggest shows ever.

1. Bukit Jalil Stadium, 2023

Located in the capital city of Malaysia, Bukit Jalil Stadium has a capacity of 85000 people. When Coldplay performed there in 2023, the stadium became their biggest show ever with an attendance of 81812 individuals.

2. Croke Park, 2017

Croke Park is a stadium for the Gaelic Games with a capacity of 82300 seats in Dublin. Coldplay first performed there in 2017 with the presence of 80,398. They once again performed at the venue in 2024 for their Music of Spheres tour and it was again attended by around 80K people.

3. Stade de France, 2022

The national stadium of France with a capacity of 80000 witnessed a Coldplay wave in 2022. They gave one of their biggest shows with an attendance of 79582.

4. GBK Stadium, 2023

Coldplay gave a gift to the Indonesians by performing there in 2023, they returned the gift by giving a sold-out show to the artist. The GBK Stadium or Gelora Bung Karno Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Jakarta with a capacity of 78k. It was one of their biggest shows.

5. Stade de France, 2017

In 2017, one of the greatest of all time group Coldplay performed in France's Stade de France with an impressive attendance of 78537.
