UGC-NET to be conducted from February to March, here's details

National Eligibility Test for Assistant Professor and JRF, there is big news for the candidates going to appear for NET exam. The registration and exam date for the exam has been issued. In such a situation, you can check the important dates here.

According to the information given by UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar, the registration process for UGC NET December 2022 session has started today that is from 29 December. At the same time, candidates will be able to apply till January 17. To apply, candidates have to fill the form by visiting the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. After online application, candidates will also have to pay a fee of ₹ 1000. However, it is Rs 550 for EWS and OBC and Rs 275 for SC, ST, Divyang category application fee.

UGC NET 2023 Exam Date:

On the other hand, the UGC chairman told that the UGC NET exam will be conducted from February 21 to March 10. The examination will be conducted in computer based mode, ie CBT mode. It is worth noting that through the examination, eligibility for the posts of Assistant Professor in universities and colleges and for JRF is determined.

UGC NET Application Form 2023:

UGC NET is conducted by NTA in 83 subjects. In this case, only those candidates can appear in the National Eligibility Test who have passed PG degree with minimum 55% marks in any one of these subjects. However, this limit of minimum marks in PG is 50% only for OBC-NCL, SC, ST, Divyang and third gender candidates. On the other hand, PhD holder candidates whose Masters degree was completed before 19 September 1991 will also be given a relaxation of 5% in the cut-off.
