Education News: The National testing Agency is going to hold Common Entrance Test for admission in the PHD courses which are offered by the Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University, Jawahar lal Nehru University and Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University. The national Testing Agency used to hold separate examination for PHD admissions in the Delhi University and Jawahar Lal Nehru University. The online Registrations for the PHD examinations are underway and the last date to apply for these exams is 8th September.

Date and Time of the Exam will be announced later

These Question Paper will be in English where as there will be other language Papers also. The authorities will announce the date and time of the examination later. The University has not set any fix age criteria to apply for this exam but the candidate has to mention the age in the application form while applying. The minimum qualification required to appear for the PHD exam is Post Graduation. However candidates who have applied for any other qualifying exam can also apply.

Exam will be divided into two sections

The exam will be held in a Computer based mode and the question paper will be divided in two sections. Section 1 will be based on Research Methodology and section 2 will be based on a particular subject. The time duration of  the exam will be 3 hours and there will be 100 Multiple Choice Questions.
