Following a careful investigation, the Commission concluded that the MCC was not broken by the HSSC and HPSC's continuous hiring practices. As per the MCC guidelines, which permit statutory authorities to carry on with their operations during the election period, the EC discovered that the recruitment process had started prior to the announcement of the election dates. EC's Directive to Maintain Fairness The Election Commission has chosen to postpone the release of the recruitment results even though there was no MCC violation discovered. This action is meant to keep things even during the election and stop any party from gaining an unfair advantage. The outcomes of these recruitments by the relevant bodies (HSSC & HPSC) would be kept confidential till the Haryana Assembly elections are over, following the EC's mandate.
