Will Honda launch the ADV 160 in India soon? All we know about this rumour

Honda: In the markets of South-East Asia, Honda is a well-known brand in the maxi-scooter category. However, the Japanese brand has not yet looked into the idea of introducing a quality maxi-scooter line in India.

Will Honda lunch the ADV 160 in India?

Even though the scooter market in India is one of the biggest in the world, the majority of the scooters sold there are standard, commuting models.
Since the maxi-scooter body shape does not historically pique the interest of the general public, the majority of bike manufacturers are reluctant to explore it.

In recent years, Honda has trademarked a number of models from the "ADV" maxi-scooter line in India. But the company is not yet planning to introduce them in our country.
We think it is time for Honda to launch the wildly popular ADV 160 model in our market shortly after seeing the Aerox 155's excellent reception generally.

ADV 160 details

The ADV 160, as its name implies, is powered by a 156.9cc engine that produces 16.2PS and 14.7Nm.

The traction control feature of the Honda ADV 160 is another innovative feature. Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), as the brand calls it, can even be disabled, allowing you to slide your back wheel out of a corner when working hard. Additionally standard is dual-channel ABS. Not to mention, the Honda ADV 160 boasts a function called the Idling Stop System (ISS) that increases fuel efficiency. On its digital instrument console, there have also been adjustments to the speedometer.
