TVS Jupiter vs Hero Xoom: On one hand we have the TVS Jupiter which is one of the best-selling scooters in the Indian market and on the other hand we have the Hero Xoom which has just launched and is very well-liked by the customers. Both of these scooters cater to the same audience, so let's compare them to see which one is better

Features

A fully digital instrument cluster, taken from the TVS NTorq 125, is a feature of the Jupiter ZX SmartXonnect variants. Along with voice assistance, navigation, and call/SMS access, it also has these features. The Jupiter ZX Disc model includes TVS intelliGo technology, which shuts off the engine when it idles for an extended period of time. The engine is restarted with a small twist of the throttle. This technology increases the scooter's mileage while lowering pollution on congested roadways. A silent starter is also included. There is an integrated ignition key slot for added convenience. Along with these features, the Jupiter has a USB charging station, a large 2-litre cubby hole on the rear of the apron, and extensive under-seat storage of 21 litres.

The Maestro Xoom 110 is packed with features, including first-in-segment Corner Bend Lamps, a fully digital console, smartphone connectivity, a real-time mileage indication, a battery level indicator, and call/SMS notifications. Additionally, it has under-seat storage with an LED light and an apron-mounted storage space with a USB charging station. However, it does not have an external petrol filler cap or turn-by-turn navigation.

Price in India

TVS Jupiter is offered in six different configurations: Sheet Metal Wheel (Rs 69,990), Standard (Rs 74,068), ZX drum (Rs 78,843), ZX disc (Rs 82,843), ZX SmartXonnect (Rs 85,673), and Classic (Rs 86,263). All of these are  Ex-showroom prices in Delhi.

Starting costs for the Maestro Xoom 100 is Rs 68,599 for the Xoom LX and Rs 71,799 for the VX model. In contrast, the ZX trim costs Rs 76,699 (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).
