Features

Traction control is now an included feature on the FZS FI. Additionally, it comes standard with Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X Bluetooth connectivity, whereas customers can choose to add it to the base FZ series for an additional Rs 3,000. Together with trip telemetry data like average speed, battery voltage, and distance, the app receives security features like an e-lock and a danger lamp function. Further noteworthy features include a single-piece seat, a negatively illuminated LCD instrument cluster with an Eco indicator, and single-channel ABS. Together with all of this, the Deluxe variant at the top adds LED indicators, dual-tone seats, and coloured alloys in addition to the LED taillight that is included in the regular variant.

Three riding modes—Sport, Urban, and Rain—are now available on the RTR 160s most recent iteration's new fully digital instrument cluster. As a first in the sector, it now also has voice assistance. The top-tier model includes Bluetooth, and TVS' SmartXonnect allows you to link your smartphone to the console for call and SMS notifications, turn-by-turn directions, and a wealth of other information.

Also, the Apache RTR 160 is equipped with Glide Through Traffic technology, a low-speed aid that ensures the bike crawls solely with clutch modulation and without the use of the throttle. This ought to be quite useful on congested highways. It has single-channel ABS rather than a dual-channel device to keep expenses down. Together with updated headlamp cowls, the bike now has new LED headlights and taillights.
