Engine and power

In terms of power, the Skoda Kushaq and the Volkswagen Taigun are basically similar. The 1498 cc engines' combined maximum power, which is produced between 5 and 6000 rpm, is 147.51 bhp in both. Both vehicles simultaneously produce 250 nm of torque between 1600 and 3500 rpm. Both of these vehicles are automated with a 7-speed DSG gearbox, but the Skoda kushaq has four-wheel drive while the Volkswagen Taigun does not. Both the Volkswagen Taigun and the Skoda Taigun have dual clutches.

Features and Mileage

The top speed of both cars is 150 kmph. Speaking about safety, the Skoda kushaq features an anti-theft alarm that the Volkswagen Taigun does not have, and the Taigun has a braking assist feature that the Kushaq does not.

Both the Volkswagen Taigun and the Skoda Kushaq have a 50-litre fuel tank. The Skoda Kushaq gets slightly more than 17 km per litre of fuel whereas the Volkswagen Taigun gets an average of 18 km per litre. So both of these vehicles are the same here as well.

The Volkswagen Taigun GT Plus - 1.5L TSI Ventilated Seat is available for 18 lakh 96 thousand (ex-showroom), which is cheaper than the Skoda Kushaq 1.5 TSI Monte Carlo DSG, which costs 19 lakh 69 thousand (ex-showroom). Despite having a similar appearance, the Skoda kushaq has a few more functions than the taigun, thus its price is also a little bit more.
