POLITICS Ram Mandir built on 'nafrat ki zameen': RJD leader's remark Neha Kumari Jan 07, 2023 12:59 GMT Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Jagdanand Singh has given a controversial statement regarding the Ram temple. The RJD leader said that the Ram temple is being built on the land of hatred. Jagadanand has given this statement at a time when Union Home Minister Amit Shah had recently said that the foundation stone of the Ram temple will be laid on January 1 next year. Jagdanand Singh said, "Ram living in every particle has now gone to the wall of stones, where the Ram temple is being built on the land of hatred. Now Ram of fanatics will be saved in India. Now the Ram of the poor, the slum-dwellers, the Ram of Tulsi, the Ram of Ayodhya, the Ram who eats the false berries of Shabri will no longer live in India, but inside the stones. 'We are the people of Ram, not the people of Jai Shri Ram' Targeting Amit Shah's statement, he said that now Ram will be there from 1st date. He further said that "India's Ram will remain in every particle. RSS's Ram will live wherever he wants." He said that "India's Ram can never be taken away from the people and imprisoned." The RJD leader said, "We are the people of Ram, not the people of Jai Shri Ram." He asked whether Ram would now belong only to the temple? Will Ram no longer belong to the country? Vote bank experiment not a coincidence - BJP BJP has retaliated on Jagadanand's statement. Shahzad Poonawalla tweeted that hurting Hindu faith is secularism for RJD-Congress. Poonawala wrote, "Describing Ram Janmabhoomi as a land of hatred, Ram temple boundary wall, Ram of fanatics. Before this he has given controversial statements targeting Hindus even during the ban on PFI. From Hussain Dalwai to Jagdanand Singh - this is not a coincidence, but a vote bank experiment." What did Amit Shah say? Union Home Minister Amit Shah in a rally in Tripura targeted the Congress and Rahul Gandhi regarding the Ram temple. The Home Minister had said that the Congress had gone to court to stop the construction of the Ram temple. After the decision of the Supreme Court, Modi ji started the construction of the temple. PM Modi performed Bhoomi Pujan and the construction of the temple started. Targeting Rahul Gandhi, Shah had said, "In the 2019 elections, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi used to say that the temple will be built there, will not tell the date. Today Rahul Gandhi and everyone should listen that the skyscraper Ram temple in Ayodhya is for the people. Will be ready on 1 January 2024."
