Delhi CM Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann to address AAP event in Raipur

The National Convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal, along with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, are embarking on a tour of Chhattisgarh today. As part of their visit, AAP workers will address a convention at Jain Manas Bhawan on Airport Road, Raipur, scheduled for 1.30 pm. The aim of this event is to provide election strategies, or "election mantras," to party workers to enhance their prospects of victory in the upcoming assembly elections. Furthermore, the party plans to issue guarantee cards to the people of Chhattisgarh, outlining assurances pertaining to the assembly elections.

A press conference was held at the state office

A press conference was held at the state office, wherein the State President of AAP, Komal Hupendi, and State Co-incharge Hardeep Singh Mundia, alongside Senior State Vice President Gopal Sahu, shared details about the visit of Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann to Raipur on August 19. The event is expected to attract party officials and workers from all corners of the state. Both Kejriwal and Mann will address the attendees and share their election strategies.

This event signifies the entrance of the Aam Aadmi Party into the state's electoral politics in a prominent manner. During the event, CM Kejriwal will present a guarantee card, symbolizing concrete commitments rather than mere election promises. Hardeep Singh Mundia, the state co-incharge of AAP, emphasized that their party doesn't indulge in making empty promises, a practice they attribute to BJP and Congress. Kejriwal is expected to ensure specific initiatives for the benefit of the public in the capital city, Raipur. The party leaders highlighted that the guarantees made by AAP after forming governments in Delhi and Punjab were successfully fulfilled, and they intend to extend the same level of commitment to Chhattisgarh.

After the convention, Kejriwal is slated to meet with AAP workers. The stage will also feature the presence of Komal Hupendi, Hardeep Singh Mundia, and Gopal Sahu. According to Komal Hupendi, this meeting holds substantial importance for the state's party workers, as it will galvanize them for active participation in the upcoming elections.

AAP, an established national party, has been extensively preparing for the Chhattisgarh assembly elections. The party has been engaged in various forms of protest, demonstrations, and even resident encirclements of MLAs throughout the state. Additionally, the party has organized the Tiranga Yatra as part of its electoral preparations.
