Maruti Suzuki WagonR vs Grand i10 Nios: The Grand i10 Nios facelift was recently released by Hyundai Motor India. We all know that the Maruti SuzukiWagonR, one of the most popular vehicles in the nation, will be up against the 2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. Engine details

In the WagonR, A conventional 5-speed manual transmission and a 5-speed AMT are mated to 1-litre and 1.2-liter DualJet petrol engines, respectively, to provide (67PS/89Nm) and (90PS/113Nm) of propulsion. The 1-litre engine can also be purchased with a CNG kit and a 5-speed manual transmission, producing 57PS and 82.1Nm. The 1-litre petrol is advertised to have a fuel economy of 25.19 km/l, while it is advertised to produce 34.05 km/kg when used with a CNG kit. The 1.2-litre engine is rated at 24.43 kph with the automatic transmission and 23.56 kph with the manual transmission.

The new Grand i10 Nios features a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine with a maximum output of 83PS and a maximum torque of 113.8Nm. It may be combined with either a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission. The CNG variant has a 5-speed MT and a full power and torque output of 69PS and 95.2Nm, respectively.

Features

A four-speaker audio system, a seven-inch touchscreen, steering-mounted audio and phone controls, and other features have all been added by Maruti to the Wagon R. It comes equipped as standard with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and hill-hold assist (only on AMT variants).

A wireless phone charger, automatic air conditioning with rear vents, cruise control, auto lighting, and push-button start/stop are among the amenities available on the Grand i10 Nios.

Price in India

The Maruti Wagon R has a starting price of Rs. 5.53 Lakh and a maximum price of Rs. 7.41 Lakh. Maruti Wagon R is available in 11 variations.

The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios has a starting price of Rs. 5.73 Lakh and a maximum price of Rs. 8.51 Lakh. There are 12 variations of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.
