A (67PS/89Nm) 1-litre DualJet petrol engine powers the Alto K10, and it is paired with both a standard 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox. With a manual gearbox, it is said to have a fuel efficiency of 24.39 km/l, while with an automatic gearbox, it is said to have a fuel efficiency of 24.90 km/l. Utilising CNG results in lower output and torque, but a higher fuel efficiency of 33.85 km/kg.

Renault only provides a 1.0-litre petrol engine with 68PS/91Nm for the Kwid. Both a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed automatic gearbox are available as options.

Features

The Alto K10 has a digital instrument panel, keyless entry, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Additionally, the hatchback comes with manual ORVMs and steering-wheel-mounted controls.

The Kwid has a 12-volt charger, remote locking, an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital instrument panel with a multi-info display, manual air conditioning, front power windows, and LED DRLs. The electronic stability programme (ESP), hill start assistance, traction control, and tyre pressure monitoring system are now standard in vehicles in addition to the dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors with cameras.
