IND vs SL: 'What a guy,' Anushka Sharma hails Virat Kohli's 166-run knock vs Sri Lanka

IND vs SL: Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma on Sunday has lauded Virat Kohli's crazy innings at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. Kohli registered his second-highest knock in ODI cricket after scoring 166 runs vs Sri Lanka in the third and final ODI of the three-match series. India later won the game by 317 and clean swept the series 3-0. This was the biggest-ever win for any team in ODI cricket.

'What an innings played'

Kohli's wife Anushka Sharma to social media to share a TV screen, which showed Virat Kohli raising his bat and helmet, and looking up towards the sky after his hundred in the third ODI against Sri Lanka.

"What a guy…Shabaaash…What an innings played," she wrote along with the post.

Virat Kohli breaks the jinx

Virat Kohli broke the jinx to come out of his 3-year lean phase last year and after the Asia Cup, he has been brilliant with the bat.

The celebrity couple got married in 2017 in an intimate ceremony in Italy after dating for many years. Anushka and Virat welcomed their daughter Vamika Kohli on January 11, 2021.
