Engine details

A 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine (E20 Fuel Ready) with a 5-speed manual gearbox (5MT), a Smart Auto AMT (Automated Manual gearbox) and a 1.2-litre Bi-fuel Kappa petrol and CNG engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox are the three available powertrains for the Hyundai Exter.

The Tata Punch is propelled by the 1.2-litre petrol engine from the automaker, which makes 86PS and 113Nm. This engine has been upgraded to meet RDE specifications, and it can even run on fuel that contains 20% ethanol, or E20. For the SUV, a 5-speed manual or an AMT are also options. Fuel efficiency for the manual type is 20.09 km/l, while 18.8 km/l is the mark for the AMT.

Features

The Exter offers features that no other SUV in its class has, such as a dashcam and a single-pane sunroof that can be opened with voice commands. Other features include OTA updates, automatic climate control, voice commands, footwell lighting, linked car technology, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and six airbags as standard.

The car's interior features a layout that is similar to that of the Aura or Nios, and it also has an 8-inch touchscreen and a dashboard with the same pattern. For the Exter, a digital instrument cluster similar to the i20 is also provided.

The Punch comes equipped with a seven-inch touchscreen, a partially digital instrument panel, automated climate control, automatic headlights, linked car technology, and cruise control. It has ISOFIX child safety anchors, rear defoggers, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, two front airbags, and a rear-view camera.

Exter's Prices range from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 10 lakh (starting, ex-showroom across India).

Punch pricing begins at Rs. 5.99 Lakh. Punch has 8 different colour options and 27 variants.
