Hero Xpulse 421: Once more, a Hero XPulse 400 test mule has been spotted. It's interesting that spy photos have recently surfaced several weeks. But this time, motorcycles are more easily seen. This is what we could make out of these images

Hero Xpulse 421 specifications

The Hero XPulse 400's new 421cc engine should produce between 35 and 40 Bhp, which should satisfy the greatest complaint from XPulse 200 owners about the bike's lack of power. Even when riding at high altitudes, like the Himalayas, where the rarefied air causes engines to lose power, a 400cc engine is more than plenty for a light adventure motorcycle. Hero is reportedly benchmarking the XPulse 400 against the KTM Adventure 390 and will also have a brand-new chassis.

Design

The Hero XPulse 400 may have two versions based on what is seen in the spy photos. As can be seen in the image, the bike on the left has a larger front tyre, which is typically a 21-inch tyre. Also, it has ergonomics that are more upright compared to the other bike, which has a somewhat forward-leaning stance. Hero may thus separate the XPulse 400 into two models, a road-focused variation and an off-road-focused one.

Launch details

It won't be until the second half of 2023 that the new adventure motorcycle, the Hero XPulse 400, would be introduced in India. With the lengthy gap between the initial spy images and the official introduction, adventure motorcycle purchasers will anticipate a drawback-free product.
