Hero Xoom 125R vs TVS Ntorq: During the 2023 EICMA, Hero MotoCorp debuted the Xoom 125R, a sporty scooter. The Hero Xoom 125R will go up against the TVS Ntorq when it is released in India. Powertrain Details

A 124.6cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 10.14 Nm and 9.37 BHP powers the Xoom 125R. It is a slightly modified version of the 125cc engine that drives the Maestro Edge 125 and Destini 125.

The TVS NTorq is powered by a single-cylinder, 124.8cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that generates 9.38PS and 10.5Nm. However, the NTorq 125 Race XP version generates slightly more power (10.2PS and 10.8Nm) than the other variants. It also features a Race riding mode for faster acceleration and a top speed of 98 kmph. The Street riding mode is ideal for clogged roads even though it is said to provide higher mileage.

Features

Among its many features, the Xoom 125R has a digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity that provides turn-by-turn navigation.

The TVS NTorq 125 XT scooter was the first to have a completely digital TFT instrument cluster with SmartXonnect fitted. It features ride analytics, call and SMS notifications, turn-by-turn instructions, and warnings related to the car's diagnostics. The XT edition has a redesigned user interface, voice assistance, and the ability to bookmark addresses that you frequently visit.

Price in India

Regarding pricing, the ex-showroom price of the Xoom 125R is probably going to be approximately Rs. 85,000.

Prices for the TVS NTORQ 125 range from Rs. 85,366 to Rs. 1.06 Lakh. The top-of-the-line NTORQ 125 XT, which costs Rs. 1.06 lakh, is one of six variants of the TVS NTORQ 125, along with the Drum, Disc, Race Edition, Super Squad Edition, and Race XP.
