Engine details

An air-cooled, 97.2cc, fuel-injected single-cylinder engine that is mated to a 4-speed gearbox powers the Splendour Plus. With a 9.8-litre fuel tank, it produces 8.02PS and 8.05Nm.

The Honda Shine 100 is powered by a 100cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with BS6.2 (OBD2) certification that generates 7.61PS and 8.05Nm. It has a four-speed gearbox attached to it. A diamond-shaped frame supports the telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers of the Shine 100. Drum units are used by CBS for braking on both ends.

Features

With Bluetooth connectivity for call and SMS alerts on the instrument panel, the Splendour Plus receives a fully digital instrument cluster that is a segment first in its Xtec version. Along with that, it has a dual tripmeter, a real-time mileage indication, and a low fuel indicator. An offset LED DRL has been added to the headlamp. Hero's 'Idle Stop-Start System,' which turns the engine off whenever it idles for longer than five seconds in traffic, is standard on the i3S model, as the name implies. Then, by lifting the clutch lever, you can start the engine. On congested routes, in particular, this approach guarantees higher mileage.

The analogue twin-pod console on the new Honda Shine 100 is basic yet contains features including a speedometer, warning lights, and a fuel gauge. The bike will have larger seating, telescopic front forks, alloy wheels, and a combi-brake system.

Price in India

Hero Splendour Plus is available in India for a starting price of Rs. 72,076 and a maximum price of Rs. 74,396. Three different versions of Hero Splendour Plus are available.

Price for the Honda Shine 100 starts at 64,900 rupees (ex-showroom). STD is the only variant of the Honda Shine 100 that is available.
