It is very important to avoid these diseases otherwise the result can be harmful. The chances of diseases increase during the rainy season due to humidity and increasing bacteria and insects. To avoid all these, it is very important to keep the body's immunity system absolutely active and strong. Viral infections like cold, cough and flu are very common diseases in monsoon, to avoid which we need strong immunity. To boost the immunity system, we should adopt herbal remedies which prove to be very effective. Along with viral infection, they also keep the digestive system healthy and active. Read on to Know about the five herbs that boost the immunity system. Tulsi Tulsi has a very high place in Ayurveda because of its medicinal properties, it is beneficial for many problems. It has antifungal, antibacterial and antiviral properties which protect us from infections arising in monsoon. Consuming Tulsi activates the immunity system and also provides relief from respiratory issues. Ashwagandha Ashwagandha herb is widely used in Ayurveda. Its intake reduces stress, increases immunity and is beneficial in almost all the problems of the body. Consumption of Ashwagandha helps us to withstand the changing weather. Neem Neem is known for its bitterness but this quality makes it much more effective. The antimicrobial and antiviral properties found in neem protect against infections and its intake detoxifies and purifies the blood. Triphala Triphala is an Ayurvedic herbal mixture made from three fruits Amalaki, Bibhitaki and Haritaki. Its detoxifying property is very beneficial for the body and it acts as an antioxidant which boosts immunity and digestion. Drinking Triphala powder mixed with lukewarm water is very beneficial in the monsoon. Garlic Due to the beneficial importance of garlic, it has been used for centuries to maintain health. Due to the abundance of allicin, antimicrobial properties are found in garlic, which keeps immunity boosted.
