Gogoro Pulse: Gogoro debuted their newest electric scooter following multiple announcements of recent worldwide expansion. As the company's most powerful electric scooter to date, the new Gogoro Pulse model ushers in a technical revolution while still relying on the company's current swappable battery standard. In this article, we will tell you all you must know about this amazing electric scooter.

Gogoro Pulse powertrain details

The Gogoro Pulse's HyperDrive powertrain is powered by a brand-new motor that the company designed. The company's new Hypercore, a powerful smart system that provides cutting-edge traction control, is matched with the new 9 kW-rated H1 motor. This is an essential component for a scooter that produces 378 Nm (279 lb-ft) of torque at the rear wheel.

With a claimed 0 to 50 km/h pace of 3.05 seconds, the motor should easily outperform any other 125cc scooter, petrol or electric. Gogoro has not disclosed the maximum speed of the scooter, but given that it has almost 50% more power than the company's current 95–100 km/h scooters, it is probably not a slow ride.

Features onboard

Gogoro's latest Smart Cockpit dashboard, which seamlessly combines with Gogoro's iQ Touch HD user interface, boasts an amazing 10.25-inch panoramic HD touch display. This setup puts the rider in control of an immersive and user-friendly interactive experience. Some of the new features and services available on iQ Touch HD are Gogoro GoStation locations, turn-by-turn navigation with real-time traffic information, and several ride modes. Six ride modes—Range, Dirt, City, Touring, Track, or Custom—are available to riders with iQ Touch HD. With the handlebars' dedicated riding mode dial, you may choose your preferred ride mode.

In addition, Pulse integrates Apple Find My with the Apple Wallet app and contains Gogoro's scooter key. With just a tap of an iPhone or Apple Watch device, Pulse can lock, unlock, and start with ease and securely using the scooter key found in the Apple Wallet app. Pulse users can use the Apple Find My app to locate their Smartscooter thanks to the integration of the Apple Find My function.

Active-matrix lighting

With 13 LED arrays, Gogoro's active-matrix lighting system can "adapt to the rider’s speed, turns, and even weather conditions." For example, the matrix will throw out more light during cornering and expand the headlight beam's reach as the scooter speeds up.
