In anticipation of the grand wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant at the Jio World Convention Centre on July 12th, Nita Ambani, wife of Mukesh Ambani and Founder & Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, has paid a heartfelt tribute to Varanasi, the oldest living city in the world.

Nita Ambani's Homage to Kashi

Nita Ambani embarked on a spiritual journey to Varanasi a few weeks ago, where she immersed herself in the sacred ambiance of Kashi. She expressed profound respect for the city, known for its spiritual significance and cultural richness. "For me and my family, it has always been important to seek the blessings of our devis and devtas before any auspicious beginning," Nita Ambani shared.

Connection of Varanasi in Anant and Radhika's Wedding

Speaking about her connection with Varanasi, Nita Ambani highlighted, "I have always been fascinated by Kashi, the oldest living city. The city of light. The cradle of Indian civilisation." She emphasized the importance of honoring India's rich cultural heritage during the wedding celebrations of Anant and Radhika. "Throughout Anant and Radhika’s wedding celebrations, we have tried to pay our tribute to India’s glorious culture and heritage," she added.

Varanasi's Culinary Delights

Nita Ambani also enjoyed local cuisine while she was in Varanasi, especially the well-known chaat from Kashi Chaat Bhandar. There are rumours that this delicious dish will be served solely by local vendors at the wedding.

Wedding Festivities in Varanasi

'Shubh Vivaah', the wedding celebrations, starts today on July 12th to mark Anant and Radhika's blessed union. The 'Shubh Aashirwad' is set to take place on July 13th, and the big finale 'Mangal Utsav' on July 14th promises to be an amazing way to cap off the celebrations.
