Petrol and diesel price update [18 November, 2022]: Fuel prices unchanged stable for another day in the country on Friday. On May 22, an Excise duty reduction of Rs. 8 per litre was announced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on petrol and Rs. 6 per litre on diesel.

The difference in the price of fuel in the states are due to the tax and the cost of transportation imposed by the central and state government.

How to check petrol and diesel price in your city:

Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum revise fuel rates daily, taking into account crude and rupee-dollar rates in international markets. Daily price changes for fuel are effected at 6 am every day.
