Engine details

BS6.2-compliant 160.3cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine with an oil cooler powers the Bajaj Pulsar NS160. It produces 17.2PS at 9000 rpm and 14.6Nm at 7250 rpm, making it the most potent motorcycle in its category. A 5-speed gearbox is coupled with the engine.

A 163cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, air-cooled engine that develops 15.2PS at 8500rpm and 14Nm at 6500rpm powers the Hero Xtreme 160R. It functions in conjunction with a five-speed gearbox. A 4-valve engine with somewhat more power and torque than the currently available type will power the forthcoming Xtreme 160R. Furthermore, it will be BS6.2 and E20 fuel compliant.

Features

The Pulsar NS160 receives an angular, combative streetfighter design with a bulky, forward-looking appearance. Halogen headlights with pilot lamps are included, as well as a semi-digital instrument cluster that displays information for the speed, rpm, fuel level, clock, odometer and trip metre. The console for the modified 2023 model has been somewhat updated to include readouts for the gear position, current mileage, and distance to empty. Yet it continues to lack smartphone connectivity and navigation. The elevated clip-on handlebar and split seats guarantee the bike's comfortable yet slightly athletic riding attitude.

The Xtreme 160R has a fully digital console in addition to LED lighting, which holds all the important readouts such a speedometer, tachometer, odometer, trip metre, fuel level reading, and time. The bike can also connect to Bluetooth-enabled smartphones, allowing the console to get SMS and call notifications.

Price in India

The Bajaj Pulsar NS160 costs between Rs. 1.25 Lakh and Rs. 1.37 Lakh.

There will be three versions of the Xtreme 160R 4V: standard, Connected, and Pro. The standard model costs Rs. 1,27,300, while the Connected and Pro trims cost Rs. 1,32,800 and Rs. 1,36,500, respectively (all ex-showroom, Delhi).
