Volkswagen Taigun prices slashed in India by up to Rs 1.10 Lakh, Details

Volkswagen Taigun: The Taigun's prices have been changed by Volkswagen India and are effective immediately. Prices have been lowered by up to Rs. 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom) for a limited number of models. This is a component of the brand's limited-time promotion. Read on to know more.

Volkswagen Taigun prices slashed in India

The price of Volkswagen India's 2024 Taigun has been lowered from Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 1.1 lakh; it now starts at Rs. 11 lakh and goes up to Rs. 18.90 lakh for the top variant (ex-showroom), making it one of the more appealing options in its class.

Taigin powertrain details

A 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with 150PS/250Nm and a 1-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with 115PS/178Nm are the two powertrain options available for the VW Taigun. The latter is matched with a 6-speed DSG automatic gearbox, while the former is coupled with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. While the 1.5-liter TSI is reported to generate 18.61 kmpl (MT) and 19.01 kmpl (AT), the 1-liter TSI reaches 19.87 kmpl (MT) and 18.15 kmpl (AT).
